Non Duality Retreat in Advaita Vedanta in Dharamshala

The sun shines in the morning,

Summer, spring, autumn and fall;

Oh, what a beautiful morning it is,

When you see the one in all

A walk in the forest and you hear,

Birds singing unbridled them all;

Oh, what beautiful sounds they are,

When you see the one in all

The river flows across the rocks,

Merrily down the ocean they fall;

Oh, what a beautiful sight it is,

When you see the one in all

The cool breeze blowing up my face,

On a dry leaf the caterpillars crawl,

Oh, the divine speaks through them,

If you see the one in all.

Near the river, it’s started to drizzle,

In the sky, the clouds they haul;

Oh, my heart is so happy,

As I see the one in all.

As I put my feet into the flowing river,

Gazing at the stunning waterfall;

Oh, I wish the time stood still,

Knowing there is the one in all.

The one in all is that,

which also contains the all;

Beyond the all it is,

But I know it as the one in all.

This poem is an inspiration from my visit to Naddi, Dharamshala in April 2024 for a retreat with Gautam. There is a beautiful walk from Naddi - Hotel Udechee down the forest to a river closeby. With a view of snowcapped mountains through the tall pine trees, the road leads to a quaint little river with some spectacular mountain views.
